What are the curiosities about the Lord of the Rings? Come and find out here on my blog!
The Lord of the Rings Beginning
The Lord of the Rings is a trilogy of fantasy books written by Tolkien in stages between 1937 and 1949.
The work is divided into three parts: “The Fellowship of the Ring“, “The Two Towers“, “The Return of the King”,
where the literary work is internally divided into six books, two per volume.
After countless unsuccessful attempts to bring the fictional universe to life on the screen,
some even rejected by the author himself, who was skeptical about the prospects of an adaptation,
the work was put into a cinematic key by director Peter Jackson in 2001.
The Lord of the Rings tells of the mission of nine heroes, the Fellowship of the Ring, set out to destroy the most powerful Ring of Power,
a weapon that would make its evil creator Sauron invincible if it returned to his hands, giving him the power to dominate all Middle-earth.
Frodo together with Sam separate from the fellowship of the ring to continue towards Mordor,
on the way they come across Gollum who, after trying to recover the ring, joins the duo towards Mount Doom.
After countless travels and adventures, Aragorn along with Gimli, Legolas and Gandalf declare war on Mordor in front of Sauron, while entertaining the enemy,
Frodo manages to reach Mount Doom. Gollum getting in the way eventually falls down with the ring, thus ending the era of the evil Sauron.
