What have in contrast Inuyasha and Sesshōmaru? Come and find out here on my blog!
Inuyasha and Sesshōmaru are two characters present in the work called: “Inuyasha“. But what have in common and in contrast the two half-brother?
Inuyasha is a Japanese Manga and Anime created by: “Rumiko Takahashi”.
The main protagonist of the work is called Inuyasha, a half-demon born from a union between a human woman and a demon.
As a child, Inuyasha had a troubled childhood, where he lost his father in saving his family, then his mother died leaving Inuyasha alone.
To try to take for himself the Shikon no Tama, a powerful sphere that would have made him a complete demon,
or a complete man, he meets a girl named: “Kikyō“. Initially the two fought against each other,
but after a period of war between them, their hatred turned into love.
But one day Naraku, a demon who managed to change his appearance into Inuyasha, intervened between the couple.
Kikyō, feeling betrayed, sealed the real Inuyasha in the Sacred Tree,
where shortly after, however, Kikyō died from the wounds drawn by Naraku.
After a long time Inuyasha is released with the arrival of Kagome who turns out to be the reincarnation of Kikyō.
From there he thus began the search for the fragments of the Shikon no Tama, reduced to fragments by Kagome.
On the other side there is Sesshōmaru, Inuyasha’s half-brother.
He was born of the same father as Inuyasha but with a different mother.
Sesshōmaru saw his father as his last opponent, thus wishing to defeat him in order to take possession of his two legendary swords.
Later, however, his father sacrificed himself to save Inuyasha and his mother.
Sesshōmaru saw this gesture as a pathetic act and thus began to hate both him and Inuyasha.
Due to his father’s will, he was given Tenseiga, instead of the other two swords to eventually teach him compassion.
One day then to try to get hold of the other sword, he met Inuyasha to look for the tomb of their father,
where the other sword, namely the Tessaiga, resided inside.
The two half-brothers find the tomb inside Inuyasha’s eye, but Sesshōmaru, unable to take the sword,
Inuyasha succeeded and thus defeated Sesshōmaru who had to flee.
From there his purpose changed into trying to take Naraku’s life, as Sesshōmaru’s purpose is to try to defeat the strongest demons that stand before him.
But exactly what have in contrast the two half-brothers? Find out below my video: The contrast between Inuyasha and Sesshōmaru.
